How Hackers Just Dumped Apple’s Tightly Guarded iPhone 18 Pro Secrets on the Dark Web 🚨

Per a report from Reuters, a sensitive list of components and suppliers, as well as photos, were posted on the dark web by World Leaks, a ransomware group. The hackers took data from Tata and uploaded documents on June 12, posting more than 200,000 files totaling over 630 gigabytes. World Leaks has since taken responsibility for the breach.

In 2021, the REvil ransomware group hacked Quanta Computer, a Taiwan-based manufacturer that builds MacBooks for Apple. Quanta refused to pay a $50 million ransom, so hackers leaked detailed engineering schematics of the then-unreleased M1 MacBook Pro models onto the dark web.
