Google has released new security updates for Android, patching more than 100 vulnerabilities. Android users, itโ€™s time to update your devices! ๐Ÿ“ฑ

According to Bleeping Computer, a staggering 124 vulnerabilities have been addressed in Googleโ€™s June 2026 Android security patches. Some of the most critical issues were highlighted in the June 1 Android Security Bulletin. Google stated, โ€œThe most severe of these issues is a critical security vulnerability in the Framework component that could lead to remote escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed.โ€ This means that user interaction is not required for exploitation, making it even more concerning.

In addition to this flaw, Google has also fixed a zero-day vulnerability that has already been exploited by bad actors in targeted attacks. Known as CVE-2026-21385, this vulnerability affects the graphics driver of Qualcomm processors. Cybersecurity company Pradeo noted that this flaw enables an attack to trigger memory corruption through an integer overflow. Essentially, a malicious actor can push more data to a graphics component than it can handle, leading to potential access to sensitive data.

Google Pixel devices will receive these updates immediately. However, third-party manufacturers may need to adjust the updates for their specific Android devices before rolling out the security patches to their users.
